Notice of Intent to Apply for Funds from Tennessee Housing Development Agency, 2022 Homeownership Development Program

Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Our mission is to put love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Clinch River Habitat for Humanity of an ecumenical ministry that builds, repairs, and rehabilitates simple decent and affordable houses with participating families; working with diverse individuals, businesses, organizations, and faith communities to serve others in Anderson and Roane Counties. Over the past 30 years, more than 100 new homes have been constructed for families and 100 homes repaired for low-income homeowners.

Clinch River Habitat for Humanity (CRHFH) is making application to Tennessee housing Development Agency, 2022 Homeownership Development Program to secure funds used for construction of Six (6) single family homes on scattered sites in Anderson and Roane counties in the amount of $828,000. CRHFH provides services for low- and moderate-income residents of Anderson and Roane County.

Individuals/Families must complete an application for assistance, must be willing to participate in the Habitat Program and qualify for a mortgage loan.

CRHFH will apply for funds THDA funds in December 2022. Notice of the grant award should be made by January 2023. At that time, CRHFH will provide enrollment activities for potential homeowners.
