Charlotte is also a Roane County Commissioner representing District 4 which includes the west end of Oak Ridge and the Roane County part of Oliver Springs.

Biography
Laura Christenbury is currently serving as the Home Services Director for Clinch River Habitat for Humanity now serving Anderson and Roane Counties.
Laura was born and raised in Oak Ridge. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School, attended Centre College, and did her graduate studies at the College of Charleston.
She is a retired school teacher with 30 years experience. Laura realized that her career in community service was not over yet. She felt that her path was continuing by serving others as the Home Services Director with Clinch River Habitat for Humanity.
In her free time, she enjoys visiting her three children and her sassy granddaughter.
Laura is a firm believer in the pursuit of equal housing opportunities for all citizens. Our program encourages and supports all who seek homeownership without barriers based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
Clinch River Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical ministry that builds and repair homes while working with diverse individuals, organizations, and other community members to serve others.
